It's pretty straightforward. These lights require a junction box, but they provide it. The junction box includes the driver for the LEDs. Generally, PVC can be used inside, but where it can be used is based on the occupancy. IMO, running PVC inside results in a DIY installation. And it is harder to install than EMT, as it has to be supported more often, and difficult to run exposed and make it look right. When electrical cables route from box to box, you must leave at least six inches of free conductor wiring in the junction box for connection purposes. In article 300.14, this technique is explained.
